I sent the manuscript for “The Great Martian War: Counterattack!” to my publisher for editing a couple of days ago. I’m pleased with the result. It’s longer than the first two, about 155,000 words, but there is a LOT of stuff going on in it and I think my readers will be pleased. This brings the first trilogy to a close. It’s not the end of the war by any means, but it is the end of this chapter of it. So what’s next? Well, the second trilogy will look at what’s been going on in the rest of the world. This will mean new characters, new locations, and new action. I had promised myself I was going to take a break after the close of the last novel, but I find myself already working on the next one. No idea on when it will be ready, there is a lot to figure out. Stay tuned!
